Survive and Thrive in 2021: Live Panel

The Illinois SBDC International Trade Center at SIUE (ITC), in partnership with the Southwest Illinois Trade and Investment Council, has created  this forum to discuss export challenges, where you can bounce ideas off of your regional exporting peers, and develop solutions to navigate these ongoing uncharted waters due to the pandemic to remain successful in selling your goods and services to international markets.

Southern Illinois Exporters Get Creative To Survive and Thrive in 2021

Entering 2021, small businesses had to adapt to survive! Business owners and management had to deal with employees working from home, virtual sales calls were instituted, and in-person trade shows were suspended. Additionally, the supply chain became cumbersome, the labor market became a major constraint, and logistics delays were common. Business activities that previously worked, now did not, creating an export business dilemma.

SIUE and the Southwest Illinois Trade & Investment Council have brought together a panel of business leaders to share their experiences and best practices which allowed their businesses to succeed and thrive.
